So you didn’t specify a white background in your web part, but where does that background come from? In places that do not use the full color, only a slightly darkened version, it is not very noticeable, but the white background is also there.

This problem occurs with third-party web parts. This is because the core rendering of web parts differs in many ways, and a particular class in particular.
It only renders from custom web parts, but not from default web parts. In a web part, this class ensures that every web part has a solid white background. It is inaccessible from a custom CSS web part.
Is this global CSS class really inaccessible? No not true. The default behavior is that CSS is restricted to the web part. In general, a good behavior because it ensures that no CSS is applied outside the web part, causing problems and usability problems.

SharePoint sites are essentially containers for information. The way to store and organize things in SharePoint is by sites. Think of themes as separate rooms in a house, with each location/room serving a specific purpose or aimed at a specific audience. Each site in SharePoint can have unique security and content. For example, an organization can have 20 locations. 1 site for the home page, 10 sites for departments – one site per department and 9 sites for projects (1 site per project). Of course, this is just an example that you can have as many places as you want, as long as you need a unique security (for example, new department, new project, etc.).
The example below shows an intranet sample with several sites, with the home page + different departments and other sites that can be accessed through navigation.
Designing A Sharepoint Web Part
Now that we understand what SharePoint sites are, let’s talk about SharePoint pages. SharePoint pages are nothing but a means to display content on a specific site. It’s like you have prepared a lot of dishes for your guests and put everything on one table and the space is tight – drag another table and put the dishes there – same thing. So each site can have multiple pages. If you want to see the content on one screen and the space is at a premium, you can create another page. An important thing to remember is that the site is not a method to limit security to the content – it is literally just a means of viewing and organizing that content on the site and making it available to the present end user.
The image below shows an example of a page being edited. Once in the “Edit” mode, you can change the layout of the page, the order of the web parts, and so on. And of course you can add new/additional pages.
Now that we know what sites and pages are, the final building block of SharePoint is called web parts. What are SharePoint web parts? Essentially, they are mini-applications that allow you to save specific types of content. The analogy here would be your smartphone, like the iPhone®. There are many content backup apps available for you. For example, if you want to save contacts, there is an app for that. If you want to keep track of events, there is a calendar app. There is also an app for weather, maps and so on. you get the idea The same goes for SharePoint. Microsoft created these embedded apps (web parts) that allow you to store content. For example, you want to store documents – there is an app (web part) for that – it’s called Document Library. You want to save events – there is a web part called Calendar. There are other “general” web parts like Contacts, Tasks, Issues, etc. The out-of-the-box web part can be accessed from Site Contents > Add App.
