The CMC 356 is a universal solution for testing all generations and types of protective relays. Its powerful six current sources (three-phase mode: up to 64 A / 860 VA per channel) and a large dynamic range make the unit able to test even electromechanical relays that require very high power. Operating engineers especially appreciate the ability to test the wiring and reliability of current transformers using the first injection of high current in the test range.
